Casey & Brenton // The Grove, Byron Bay

Casey & Brenton were a highlight for us last year.  The most down to earth people you will meet.  From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, Casey had a smile on her face from ear to ear.  Her joyous personality is contagious.  Both her and Brenton were a pleasure to photograph.

Their wedding was held in the beautiful Byron Bay Hinterland (The Grove).  Put together by the wonderful Rachel from The Events Lounge (You need her at your wedding!)

There is something so calming about the hinterland. Weddings never feel chaotic or stressful, families are chilled, bridal parties are relaxed.  It's our favourite place to shoot in Australia and we're lucky enough to be so close to it.

We're so thankful Brenton & Casey allowed us to step into their world for a day.  Two absolute ledgends who we wish nothing but the best for.

Jacqui & Ben // Sisters Beach, Tasmania

Weddings are awesome, festivals are awesome...so why not combine the two?  That's exactly what Jacqui & Ben did and it was pretty awesome.  A windswept ceremony in the Tasmanian hillside - these two even did scissors, paper, rock during their ceremony to decide who was saying their vows first.     There was mexican food trucks, festival glitter, a full moon & a lot of dancing.  Thanks for having us Ben & Jacqui, you guys are legends.x

We feel like we say this about every wedding we do but we must be so damn lucky to just get amazing couples all the time.  Brodie & Andrew's wedding day was just beautiful.  And we don't mean the set up, the flowers or the wedding attire...the emotion on this day was something else.   There was tears flowing the whole day.  We love that!   Emotion is a beautiful thing and we love capturing the laughs, the tears and everything else you'll be feeling on your wedding day.

Thank you for having us Brodie & Andrew - you two really have something special.x

Marc & Jodie // Three Blue Ducks, Byron Bay

what an epic day!  Marc & Jodie were married at Three Blue Ducks in Byron Bay late last year and it was amazing.  The vibe of their day was so fun. Not one guest looked like they didn't want to be there! A party celebrating love in Byron Bay - what more could you want!

These two have a really special connection and it was so much fun for us to capture.

Marc & Jodie's wedding was featured over on Hello May.  You can read more about their awesome wedding day here - http://hellomay.com.au/article/jodie-marc-lucas-and-co-byron-bay-new-south-wales-wedding/

we LOVE winter weddings.  Crispy nights - beautiful sunsets and amazing last light.  Erin & Chris were married in August last year and it was wonderful.  Byron View Farm is a highlight venue for us.  An incredible view of the coastal line on one side and hinterland views on the other. We can't wait for our weddings there this year!

Kylie & Luke // Figtree, Byron Bay

It has been an amazing year. We have met some incredible couples & photographed some amazing weddings. It's been an honour & we feel so blessed that couples choose us to document their day.    Kylie & Luke's was definitely a highlight for us.  These two were married in Byron Bay at Fig Tree Restaurant.  From the moment we met them, we knew their day was going to be special.  Kylie has such a beautiful soul & it's evident in the photographs.  The two of them together were a dream to capture.   We've travelled the Country & World to take photos of couples in love, but we're still so connected to the Byron Bay Hinterland.    Enjoy scrolling through Kylie & Luke's beautiful wedding day.  Congratulations K & L.x
